The Sicilian-Markai Variation

Sort:
happyface456

Mark and Kai created this developmental variation! It is a classical Sicilian for 2 moves and transitions into a four knights game. Black is behind development until it gains a tempo off White's dark-squared bishop. Here are the moves:

Please point out flaws and good moves. Thank You!

Hey happyface456 and De_Winner, the e5 push and the Bg4 pin all create weaknesses in black's territory. I think black may lose or at best draw if white plays correctly and aggresively. Analyze white and black's responses and choose the best one.

By the way, didn't coach already say it was created? The e5 push? That's the Sicillian Alipin Variation.

no, coach said other people spent lifetimes creating it while we spent 3 hours creating it. he said it was disrespectful to chess. The alapin is a different move line.

1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. Nc3Nc6 4. Bc4 Nf6 5. d3 Bg4 6. h3! White can kick away black's bishop. When black castles kingside, White castles queenside with a pawnstorm already started. Then, the white bishop when being kicked off f4 goes to g5 and exchanges bishop for knight. This puts the black bishop on f6 at odds because of the push on e5 later on which is your theme of the MarkKei Sicillian. You need to fix those flaws Mark.

Hey Mark and Kai, play you today at 7:00 pm or maybe tommorow at 7:00 pm. You'll play MarkKai Sicillian against me. Afterward, we'll analyze the game.

Or, Maybe we can do an online game.

1-What is the bishop doing at f4 after the white sixth move, and corollary, why does Black want to play 6...e5 ? that creates a weak d5 square to push the f4 bishop to a better square ?

Much better 6..g6 with pretty much everything Black wants from the Dragon.

2-Why 7...g6 ? that weakens, now that the e7 square is available ?
