CPOTU Chess Player of the Universe!

Sort:
DrSpudnik

Now, more than ever, the Universe must know who is the most chessly of chess.com members! To determine just who is the most chesstastic chess nut, I will be running this "contest" in several segments, much like the noble worm, on whose continued wiggling under the earth, most life is dependent.

The first segment, will be the nominating round. Here we--and by "we" I mean "I"--will take nominations for that most universal chess player of all times, places and time-space continuum conundrums.  To nominate someone and make it stick, name that person and post a picture of the vegetable (not fruit) that that person most reminds you of.

After the nominating rounds die down and/or become unbearable, I will make up more rules to allow voting for this most dubious of distinctions!

Let the nominations begin!

kco

which Universe btw ?

DrSpudnik

Is that a time space continuum conundrum? Undecided

kco

well you see Luke Skywalker is in another universe, so can I nominate him ?

DrSpudnik

Only if he plays chess (not with the wiggly holographic monsters) and is on chess.com and has a memnotic vegetable.

Here is an example:

I nominate KCO, like the noble turnip!

A bat is not a vegetable, it's a misnomer!

You did not state how visible the veggie had to be. The bat ate it.

You beat me to it. Guess I spent too much time picking out a picture of fried okra.

Just a quick point of rule clarification:  Vegetable vs. fruit in the strictest sense of the definition, or in conventional usage?

For example, where to tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchini fall?
