question, so as not to cheat by accident

is it cheating to tell a team mate what move you think their opponent may make next?  not telling them what to do about it or anything, just guessing what they may do.

You can play vote chess in two ways.

Either click at the top of the page (far left) where it says 'Play' then on the dropdown menu, click on VoteChess .. or join a group on the site, and play as part of a team against another team in a vote chess.

Basically in a group/as part of a team, you all get to vote on what move you think your side should make in the game. The vote chess is a timed game and if you win or lose, it affects vote chess points your group gets.

This page may help http://www.chess.com/groups/help.html

In team games, a group you join may challenge (or accept a challege) from another group. In these team games, you are paired to play one person from the other group. You play them two games, one as white, one as black.

If you win those games, you do get ratings points for them, and if your team wins the match, the group gets match points.
