Ultimate Chess Player of the Month July 2012

AndyClifton: AndyClifton was the winner of CPOTM December 2010. He is a former NM and is fairly active in the forums, having 7000+ member points.

blackfirestorm666: blackfirestorm666, a motherly figure known as Donna, was the winner of CPOTM January 2011. She has been on chess.com for many years, and is a very active member, possessing 122700+ points. I think she is the member with the second most member points. Almost every day, she makes it on to the most active members list. Furthermore, she is in a large number of groups, and is an admin in almost every one.

batgirl: Batgirl was the winner of CPOTM February 2011. She is known for her very well done blog posts that occasionally are shown in the chess.com front page. Also, she is interested in the history and of the culture surrounding chess.

bigpoison: Bigpoison was the winner of CPOTM March 2011. He plays chess because he “thoroughly enjoys abject lessons in humility”. He is fairly active, with 5000+ member points. It looks like he likes chatting with people through the Notes section.

Kacparov: Kacparov was the winner of CPOTM April 2011. He is a young chess prodigy, an FM at age 16! In addition, he is very active, having 22600+ member points and playing many correspondence games at once. Furthermore, he has joined over 250 groups and is admin in almost all of them.

This should be fun hehe

echecs06: Echecs06 was the winner of CPOTM May 2011. Besides chess, he likes soccer, alpine skiing, swimming, tennis, and cooking good food. He is very active, possessing 10000+ points.

TheGrobe: TheGrobe was the winner of CPOTM June 2011, winning by a landslide. He is very active, having 16000+ points.

pdela: Pdela was the winner of CPOTM July 2011. Unfortunately his account is no longer on chess.com so he will not be participating in this month’s competition.

oinquarki: Oinquarki was the winner of CPOTM August 2011. A vote for him means free cookies. The last time he was on chess.com was in January 2012, and since that is far from today, he will not be participating in this month’s competition.
