SURVEY SUGGESTION

What do you consider the most annoying aspect of the forums?

  • The same boring, unimaginative, repetitive topics continually recur.
  • SEARCH facilities are so poor that it’s next-to-impossible to find anything.
  • There is no facility to reference individual posts.
  • Too many contributors post inane comments such as “LOL”, “First!” or “me 2”.
  • Some members are so opinionated in their expressed views – almost to the point of fanaticism.

I'd say SEARCH facilities! But it would be neat to be able to reference a specific post in some thread.

The new trophies are being rolled out (on page 5).

There's still no direct way to view the game trophies, except at the point of awarding one, (apart from using the Billium248 Method ...

unless you've given a trophy to every single opponent for every single game in your archive, just go to one in which you DIDN'T give a trophy and click on the "give a trophy" just long enuf to see all the options without actually giving the trophy.)

Any chance of seeing the statistics on the frequency of use of the GAME - and the FUN trophies? How about varying the order of showing the available trophies? Use: random order, or frequency of use, or ...

I would NOT like this.  I have gotten used to what page my favorite trophies to give are on so that I can go to it more quickly.  If the order was random or changing, I would have to search for it each time.

I agree 150% UNLESS you provide a way to search for a specific trophy -- in that case, random might be ok because it would showcase the various trophies. IMHO Cool

Regarding surveys, the only option currently available is a discrete, multiple-choice variable (radio buttons). Could support for numbers be added? This would be much more natural for surveys such as: How many chess.com groups do you belong to?
