I'm now a student of squareology...
Okay, so it's obvious.
Sorry, everyone else. You guys are also good, but only he can juggle commentary, the dictionary, chess, students, and dragonball.
Oh, and I remember the electric company. Real good timing!
OK, though late to the game, I'm starting to generate some videos now. Again, without a title I'm at what seems a more or less insurmountable disadvantage, but I still feel that the video perspective of the other 99.9% of the site should count for something.
Thus, in that underdog spirit, here are three more videos I hope someone somewhere finds of some interest. The first features me managing to win against a somewhat rude opponent, the second involves an introductory rant (that can be skipped by fast-forwarding to the game at 3:57), and the third is a good example of the attacking potential of opposite colored bishops.
I love IM squarology's videos!
hi, guys, thank you so much for your comments/votes. I really appreciate them :)
my latest video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyIb5JQv9bs
or embedded if you prefer:
I read chapter 1 of Hans Kmoch's Pawn Power today in the hopes of creating an educational video. Hope you guys like it.
Hey guys, I've got three new videos for you.
all embedded here so as to not cluster this thread :) Lemme know what you think!
squarology I hope you make many more vids, you manage to be funny and informative all in one, a tough combo, keep it up man :)
vote for zibbit video he is good and give me advice also
My latest, two 5-minute games vs IM Marc Esserman. I've recorded more so more coming....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIIHfZBd3fU
I'm voting for NM aww-rats and IM squarology
thank you, Pedone and CheesyKid :)
Wow, nice games from the Mighty Viking. Anyway chess.com are smart doodz, they tricked all you titled players into making free stuff for the peasants. Hope they keep this "contest" going forever. Like when Tom Sawyer got the neighbor kids to paint his fence, or that time I had swimsuit calendar tryouts in my driveway.
Here is a new portion of online Blitz games with instructive commentary. Keep in mind that I play only against strong opponents (IMs and GMs), so it's a bit of challenge to comment and play a strong master at the same time. I hope you enjoy it nevertheless! :) http://youtu.be/x5fGWYbb1XM
I have enjoyed aww rats videos quite a bit. Thank you.
Well! It would seem technology exists to spite me. My hard drive was corrupted a couple days ago! As soon as its fixed more videos will be on the way. In the meantime, join the discussion in the comments section of an older video!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PZViu0eAHM
A simul I played tonight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klmqYepvR_o tell me if you like this format and what could be improved in it. Think this is something that I would definately do a lot of or something similar if i got the "gig"
I tried playing a slower game but I just couldn't get the words out of my mouth. I was SO emotionally invested in the game that I couldn't get into presenting mode. It's against a GM.
go IM Squarology! hilarious and instructive videos
A lot of good ones, but TVEDAS would be my 1st choice .
His videos have been very instructive and he is not putting all of his energy just on trying to be funny, however he is still fun. I like the way he explains the moves and his plans during the game, that is excactly what I need.
I also like zibbit.
Thank you, Simon!
