The bishop is pinned to the queen by the e1 rook Bb7 attacks the pinned piece and a response to stop it is c6, Bxc6 (the d pawn cant recapture because pinned to the king) and you will win material
Also if tries defending with the knight c5 adds a new attacker
Some quick thoughts:
9. bh4 looks like a mistake. You can see he is eyeing queenside castling, and you are castled kingside. You are just mobilizing his pawns for him. This didnt turn out to be a huge deal in game, but it could have.
21. b5 should slow your attack - 20 bb4 avoids this situation and looks better.
