What should I have done differently?

I'm not a good player. So I wouldn't be able to help.

You could have still won his queen if you had player 16...fxe6. I see no way for white's queen to escape and you win the knight as well. white was thinking that they could get their spot back on e6 with the queen, but because the black knights are where they are, the white queen is doomed.

I also think you should have tried 26...e6 in order to try to kick the knight out while you could and while d4 was still not possible.

I really don't like 28...Rcc7. Moving your rook seems like a waste of time since there wasn't any sort of threat on the c8 rook anyways, and it causes you to lose even more material when you do Ne8 (which was not very good. You should try to keep as much material as you can while you're down.)

33...Bxd4 was an absolutely terrible blunder.
