Btw, I am assuming this is the same puzzle - however, even if it isn't, this article still proves that even GMs are human.

I think the reason Kasparov found it so difficult was because the solution involves having to play very very badly. I think top players like Karpov and Kasparov find it almost impossible to think of bad moves and blunders
