NM isn't permanent ?  That's certainly news to me ! Why would NM be the only title that isn't permanent ?

I was just going by what Andy said. You commented on it yourself.

I guess that was done by the spell checker, and I missed it. Are you at the chess expert level?

My lack of an answer means nothing at all.

Why do you ask? is there a reason? or just another one of your casual and inane questions?

Thought so. Laughing

At least this thread has settled down into the Troll post, plus quick dismissal genera.  While I'm still catching hell in the "He's Been Outed" thread.  Very nasty place.

But I'm looking forward to catching up on all the videos that have been dropped into these two threads.  Always very clever.

Not enough people actually read, and think, in these forums.  And apparenty the "reincarnated" avatars sometimes fight amongst themselves.  Must be the You Tube generation.  Maybe I'm just getting too old for this mayhem.

Cystem_Phailure

You got so wrapped up in your quote marks and bold that you forgot to tell us what to make a note of.  You didn't even include a snotty Have a nice day.

zborg

This is now the most popular thread that @AndyC has ever started, during his storied nine month career at Chess.com.  You're welcome.

Do you simply have to apply to get a stalker or is it something that you earn?

Sometimes you don't watch where you're going and you just step in it.

It's bad enough he stepped in it, but did he have to track it all over the house?

zborg

Both of threads with offending posts now appear to have run their course.

All just a tempest in a teapot, apparently.

Just another day in this sleepy little chess town.

Cystem_Phailure

Please, tell how you decide where to throw your quote marks?  Only a very small number of instances actually quote a common phrase or words in a post to which you're replying.  Are they intended to draw attention away from your randomly bolded sentences?

I'll bet you're one of those really irritating people who makes quotes marks in the air with his fingers every few seconds while he blathers.

Post #2: "opposite color Bishop play" "grab a pawn" "imperious air" "chess-life" "picture posts" "Pushwood Saga"

Post #22: "5 minute game" "opposite color Bishop endings" "tactical mistake" "NM" "outed" "another new online life" "outed" "Ya Jerk"

Post #24: "outed" "shameful" "Outing" "two threads" "Troll"

Post #27: "alleged" "His Pomposity" "nitwit" "Ya Jerk" "NM troll" "muffin"

Post #75: "Troll post" "He's been Outed" "reincarnated" "You Tube"

Post #82: "Both threads" "sleepy little town"

and the other thread is worse.

Cystem_Phailure

Now that's a proper use of quote marks.

Love that songWink

Your right.  My quotation marks need lots of work, and scaling back.  Too often anything with multiple meanings gets those "infamous quotes."

I would hate to be misunderstood, or offend anyone needlessly, you see.

It's a lazy habit.  Defensive one too. I'll make a note of it.

Thank you @Cystem_Phailure.
