knight beats bad bishop

I was quite pleased with this game.  I've been reading a lot about the use of minor pieces in the middle game, specifically in Silman's Reassess Your Chess.  My plan in this game was to trade off the opponent's good bishop, and knights where possible, and to build a closed position with great support points for my knight.

I think I was successful -- however, I don't think my opponent was really grasping that plan, and I really would enjoy some feedback from stronger players as to how they would have handled my plan.  And did I get away with any ill advised moves or trades?

Much appreciated, and thank you

Actually a very good game congrats! And i loved your plan to get the knight to f5. You are definetly playing above your rating!

It really does appear that your opponent didn't understand your idea at all but for this very reason this is such a nice thematic game!

Personaly after white's slow opening I would have sought a way to open up the centre as fast as possible to maximize the effects of blacks advantage in development. For example 5... d5!? looks promising. After Bd4 white should probably avoid the exchange of the darksquared bishops with 7. Nc3
