We are not mind readers. Is this what you are talking about? You could help people by posting the game position yourself.

According to Stockfish, 28 ...Bxc3 was far from your best and you would have had a much tougher time after 29 bxc3.

28.. Ba4 was the crusher.

Pikay

Maybe you shouldn't take to much stock in your own opinions when you can't figure out what being proud of Bxc3 means, when it was only played once in the game.  I would be glad to teach you chess notation if you like....

Btw....If you think its difficult in the line bxc3, Ba4 30 qa2.  I  feel bad for you.

Do you have a computer engine? Do you know what it means when the position evaluation goes from -58 to -7.6?  Yes, black is still winning but the move 28 ...Bxc3?! was considered far from optimal.

I won't say it was a losing move but it was not even listed in the top 10 moves.  The computer thinks it was like giving away five queens with one move!

So yes, you were in an "practically anything wins" position and managed to win.

Good job.

// My first comment was annoyance that you couldn't be bothered to post the game position. People want to give 2 seconds to a post to see if it is worth spending time with.

Look at your view count. Only 180 people have viewed the thread so far. Compare that to your other posts, which all have much higher numbers. (500 and up.)

Maybe it was the topic or the fact that it was a comment about a bullet game.  A lot of people know that bullet games shouldn't be looked at too closely. They realize that most people who can't be bothered to put in more than a minute on a game can't be bothered to think for longer than that creating a post.

If I were going to make a post about "proud to find xxx in a bullet game", you can be darn sure I would have done everything to make sure my move wasn't a howler.

You mean like you just did? You went out of your way to run an engine on a bullet game.

Yes, it was a mistake. I should have known better but he was claiming to have discovered truth and beauty and I fell for it.

I was so disappointed when I realized that his move gave away five queens worth of advantage in one move.

Yes, Proud to find Bxc3 in a bullet game clearly states I found the best computer move or maybe it just states that i was happy to find a clearly winning move(which isn't all that natural in a bullet game)
