Becoming a platinum member to improve chess rating

How useful is it to become a platinum member,so as to increase in chess strength .Irefer specifically to the chess videos,compared to free youtube chess videos.also the benefits of the study plans for intermediate players?will they ensure at least a rating increase of 300 points I a year if a player of 1400 strength studies as per chess.com study plans for 6 hours a week.i would love feedback from coaches and players who have used the platinum option of chess.com

It depends how much time for chess you, 6 hours a week is not that much. Is your goal to go from 1400-1700

There are a few nice features from the premium but I don't think it will necessarily improve your chess strength.  I have the premium but I would say I just got it to have a more pleasent chess.com experience, not to help me get stronger.  There are a lot of things you can buy to try to get stronger: books, chessbase, engines, etc. but what you really need to get stronger is determination and unfortunately you cant buy that.
