I hope he goes on to the WC.
Borislav Ivanov strikes again!
First ahead of 12 GMs [ I counted them].
Ivanov should enter the Olympics 100 metre dash and win that.

I'm kind of surprised one of the GMs haven't gotten into a physical altercation with him yet.
There's rumor going that he doesn't fight fair.

If tournament organizers ever start installing electronic jammers during tournaments, they should lovingly refer to them as "Ivanovs". (e. g., "During the tournament, electronic Ivanov jammers will be in use.")
They should borrow those jammers that were used in the Papal conclave. They seemed pretty effective since I am sure that some journalists, snoopers, anti-Catholics etc would have tried everything to unjam them.

against whom?
I hope they catch them, not because im super concerned about the cheating, but because i REALLY want to know how he does it.

LOL terrible answer.
maybe true, but really im hoping for some super cool system of people tapping on desks and stuff to signal which pieces to move where.

i noticed hes rating hasnt changed from 2303 from the last tournament posted (see OP). When will fide rating be updated, its probably rediculuously high now.
Also this was a blitz/rapid time control 10min +5sec/move increment so outside help seems unlikely.Maybe he just got good.

But you forgot that in between his 2700 performances he also had a 2000 performance in the bulgarian open.

Could be he is from the future and has a positronic brain ...
At this point, we can't rule out anything anymore ...

and he strikes again

and (most likely) again

some players seem to be forfeiting their matches against him. tomorrow he has to play against an opponent who has forfeited earlier in the tournament. i'm curious if he will do it again although it's the game for the first place :-)
Another stunning performance 8 out of 9:
