I will be making some chess boards As I am a master woodworker the quality will be very good. I am willing to make four of them the price is flexable but will be the materials and I do the labor for the same price as the materials cost this is a great deal if you want one please let me know.

Sure, I might be interested.  Are you going to build them the traditional all solid wood way or are you going to just glue 1/4" thick squares onto a base?  What kind of wood?  Are you going to raise the board slightly from the surrounding frame?  Are you going to even have a frame?  Are all the boards going to be the same size or do we have an option?  I'd love to get a nice curly maple and maybe mahogany in 2.5" square with a narrow frame and raised board.  Nothing fancy in a finish, just matte or satin finish poly to seal it and fill the grain.  Might have to do a private listing on Ebay and paypal so there are no money issues, but I'm sure something could be worked out.

I will try to post the design this week. I need them all to be the same design the woods can vary but i dont want to do 20 different saw set ups to make the boards. The board will be raised so that it has a drawer on each side for the chess men to be stored for travel or to keep them clean. was planing on maple or chestnut with claro walnut bases but woods are an option you can all make as your paying for the wood so it does not matter to me I will be making a prototype in the next couple of weeks so you will be able to see the board.

You'll probably want to go with a 2 1/4" square size then since that's the most common, and alas, I already have 2 of those including a "fancy" one.  Good luck with your project!
