By your OWN experience,what kind of chess playing software do recommend  apart from the widely known "Fritz" (in all its versions) that has fullfilled your needs? Thanks in advance Chess.com community.

Rybka is a great paid engine while Stockfish is supposedly a stronger engine as well as being a free download.

Otherwise, GM Larry Kaufman as well as many other strong titled players also use Houdini, which Kaufman claims to have the most "human-like" play and thinking.
