Disconnecting rather than resigning

It is a bit annoying when people "lose connection" when it looks like they are going to lose. They should just resign. This happens quite often, and I think it a is rude and unsporting thing to do.

I am trying to get over it. Maybe one day I will be over it, and it won't annoy me anymore, and I will be able to go to People Who Get Annoyed When Other People Disconnect From Chess.com Instead Of Resigning Anonymous and stand up and say, "I have finally beaten this terrible affliction!"
Or maybe I won't. Maybe it will always annoy me a bit.

It is juvenile to log off rather than resign. Sometimes you lose; it is part of the game. Congratulate your opponent and move on. What's the big deal? You lost a game of chess ... so what?
