Last night I dreamed up a chess position from an endgame. When I woke up I set it out on a board.. sat there for a couple minutes and found the correct move. So then I was wondering if anyone else from Chess.com would like to share a similar experience? Anything that they remember from a chess dream -- a position, game, tournament experience, or otherwise.

I've had lots of chess dreams, and sometimes a small bit of one makes sense (like a mate) but usually the pieces and board are unstable and can't be taken as a whole and made chess-sense of.

I once had a dream about a game I won in a tournament, but in the dream I took a much riskier move than I made in the actual game. My opponent, who was in a bad mood when we played, started bawling and my friend came over and acted as the TD. Then some buff security guys came over and took my opponent away, so I continued the game with my friend (the TD). I don't know what happened next because the dream was a while ago, and sadly I haven't had any other dreams about chess.

LOL - I know that I'm somewhat obsessed/addicted to chess, (And with nothing to show for it! ;D) but I can say that I have not yet had a dream that involves chess. Except on Thursday night, the night when "Up" came out, I had a dream that involved all Pixar movies and short films, including Geri's Game. =D I love Pixar that much!!!
