What can be done to get the forums back to life?

I've been here on chess.com for almost a year. Until the start of 2015, the forums were very active with some high-quality threads.

But since February, both forum quality and quantity have significantly dropped, causing boredom for me.

What could be the reasons behind this, and how can we get back to how it used to be in 2013/14?

Too many trolls and idiots onboard.

I've seen people aren't that much online as they used to be. Blocking is also a major factor.

However, I've seen a gradual decrease in trolls.

Forums are full with trolls like kaynight

Thats why i avoid them

If that was the case, the forums would have got busier.

Maybe it's just your "personal cycle". You love to surf forums and all different topics there, but after some time you find most of them boring (although they're more or less the same, just differen people involved).
