I am a 2100 player and i want to improve my calculations skills. I can solve only 20% of the problems starting from 490 and even worse,i can't even reason some of the solutions! As I really don't know what to do now (Should I move to another book and then return to this one? Should I keep trying to solve those anyway?) I am asking for your help: What should i do in your opinion,and why?

Hi! I have been learning\solving from the book "Manual of chess combinations vol 2 by Sergey Ivashchenko",and i have been doing well (solving about 80% of the problems),when recently(starting from problem #490) I have stumbled upon unsolveable problems for me,when i can solve only 20%(!!) of the problems.
