Losing the fun?

Hello, I just wanted to ask if any of you guys have had these symptoms and wondering if I should try to psyche myself out of it or take some action.

I've been playing chess for 4 months serious now and lately at an increasing pace I've started to lose the fun. Mostly, when I win a game or find a super good move I don't get that "hooray" feeling anymore, when I win thoughts are usually like "this opponent wasn't strong enough, there's nothing to be cheerful about" or simply relieved or at best, satisfied.

And when I lose, if I made huge blunders I'm angry at myself and everything ticks me off for a while, or I play'd a good a game but the opponent was too strong, which actually does leave me a nice feeling still, but it's a rare occurrence.

But since it's escalating I fear I might alienate from chess, since the dopamine rush I used to get from winning was the best motivation to get even better, and win even stronger opponents. I just don't get it anymore.

I was wondering if any of you have had these symptoms and where did it lead to or what did you do about it..?

It might seem a little silly topic but I actually alienated myself from another similar game to chess at one time. Now I'm thinking it happened because I got fed up being disappointed at everything. And I was actually doing rather well in that game so it's a shame.

I don't want my chess to end like this.

Been there... you should take a break or switch to standard chess. Blitz is the crystal meth of chess. It feels good for a period but after some time it feels as if you don't accomplish anything when you win (your opponent lost on time or blundered severely or you won by luck etc.) In classical chess you get a feeling of success. At least that's how I feel.
