If you want to showcase games you can actually embed them right into your profile.
I think that the problem of best-wins on time-outs prior to the game being decided is one that deserves some attention though. It would be nice to be able to optionally suppress those games from your "best win" so that the user could decide whether to showcase that game or another more deserving "best win".
We need new stat categories in our stat profile: Top 5 best wins, Top worst losses (Hall of Shame), best come from behind wins... etc etc etc.
What do you think?
I was just looking at my stats and thinking what else would be a good interesting meaningful stat to include... then it hit me after staring at my cheap "best win" vs. emilyjoieofstpaul 2351 (she timed out with only 10 moves into the game)...
Why not have a stat category that shows your top 10 (or 5?..whatever works) best wins you ever had and not just your best "win".
1. It would include links to each game of course
2. Time out wins could still be included since some T.O.s occure after the game has been decided (the losing player doesn't resign but just lets his time run out)
3. It could be like your trophy case where you display your best games for other players to check out. Thats why top 5 maybe better for space reasons.
4. Your Top 10 best wins could be listed by ratings or....
5. Maybe a Top 5 by ratings (chess.com posts this automatically) and a top 5 by your favorite game (you post these games in another showcase)
6. I mean you can keep going.... how about.. Top 5 best comeback wins (games you should have lost, thought about resigning, but pressed on and won).
7. All of these Stat categories of course would be on your chess profile conveniently placed where others can easily check out.
What do you guys think? Are there any other meaningful stats that should be included?
