Ratings

Does anyone know why my chess.com rating went up 150 points without me playing a game? I was at 1553, and the next time I logged in I was 1703.  Has this happened to anyone else?  I am wondering if it is significant that the day this happened was the 1 year anniversary of me joining the site.  If anything knows why this happened, or has had a similar experience I would be interested to hear about it.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but there have been about 50 of these topics posted in the last two days, you would find your answer very quickly by looking at them.

Ok thanks, you weren't being a jerk, you helped me find the answer i was looking for.  I should have looked at the recent posts before writing mine, but i didn't.

The increase in rating happened to all players.Many postings had posted in chess.com explaining the issue.I think ur doubt had already been dispelled.
