In before the lock.
Senator Ted Cruz
Its interesting though that the chess board picture of him playing chess he released had the white queen and king reversed.

Is this because he is from Texas or because he is a Republican?
The correct answer to nearly every either/or question posed by Socrates was both. Socrates, however, did not acknowledge this and Plato failed to figure it out. Modern philosophy still struggles to catch up with this simple insight.

Did you see that chess board?
Nothing screams "I really don't know how to play, but want people to think I am intelligent and have class" than setting the pieces up incorrectly and playing on a multi-tiered chess board with a very ugly (but likely very expensive) themed chess set.
Now, had he tweeted a pic of a nice, staunton set (set up correctly) with the same note, I would have been pleasantly surprised that he plays chess.

He said he loves chess, he didn't say he plays it. I've met plenty of people who love baseball but couldn't run to first without suffering a cardiac arrest or fall over in pain due to their gout flaring up.
Ok, but how many people who love baseball couldn't tell you how many innings are in a game (assuming it's not tied after the last inning).

Many people have pictures with intelligent people, nice cars, celebrities, nature, etc. to give the illusion that they are involved with the person/activity. Nothing could be further than the truth as Cruz illustrated by his incompetent piece setup.

True, we all know Ted's full of shit about with his claims about chess.
I only point out his choice of the word 'love' because we have to keep an eye on these politicians and the shifty words they use so they can claim they're honest.
I'm still waiting for him to say something that he ISN'T full of...poop...about. At this point, the only thing he could say that I could be convinced he's being truthful about is, "I hate this country and I want it to fail for my political gain."
lol........u must really suck at basketball then, bc obama is a joke.
2 for 22?? seriously, u couldn't do better than that?

In an interview with Fox news, Texas Senator Ted Cruz:
"As to any “hidden talent,” Cruz said, “I love games of any sort, cards, chess, backgammon.” (bold added).
This confirmed my suspicions that Yereslov closed down the govt.
