So, are all the profile pictures going to be deleted?

Help me understand please.  Is the site going to discontinue profile pictures, known as "avatars"?

I have read threads to that effect.

I think if they should do something is to get rid of the avatars that claim to have a title. Some think they win against a NM. that should be against site policy to have an avatar that claim that the person has a title without having one.

They need to get rid of custom profiles, period.
