I agree. There mY be the appearance of a better move but if you study it with some patience you will see you fa mistaken.mi do not use the trainer here that much but have a really good app on my iPad with lots of puzzles tactics and mates. Sometimes I think the same way, that I have something better. But on inspection I see I am being hasty. Also, I find it is more challenging to figure out exactly what the puzzle or tactic wants from me. Like a real game. If a light came on and said " mate in three moves if you look hard enough" life would be easier to be sure.
a brief description of the purpose of the tactic would help a lot. some are checkmate tactics others arent. also sometimes there is a better move than in the solution. i think it would be better to have a goal i.e. checkmate in three moves / capture queen in two moves..
