Well, for me I feel chess.com needs to improve somehow or a rather. what do you think and why???

chess.com is doing a good job providing a useful site for all. the only improvement i would like to see is in the conditional moves...we should be able to make some conditional moves and if a mistake is made (prior to your opponent moving) while planning the conditionals be able to go back that 1 move or so and correct it without having to delete the entire line of moves. and the conditional moves should have an activate button much like the submit move to prevent in inadvertant conditional move from becoming a game deciding mistake.

Why do you feel this. What is this emptiness that you feel?

You can just click "Delete line"

Um well...finishing up livechess' beta and moving forward with a final version that's stable with Windows and IE would be a very nice start. I'm really quite impressed with the site overall...I'm just being inpatient I suppose.

The main problem with that being- that's exactly what he doesn't want to do, which is why he wants it improved.

Fischer Random

live chess needs a little work like if you do get disconnected you can reconnect and finish your game with only a loss of time, not the whole game...having multiple live areas would be cool too, like have a rooms for blitz, fast, bullet, slow, really slow or separate social rooms, i.e. those who like to talk more than play. from more "serious" rooms...fischer random would rock too!

dragon27

yeah, i agree. I mostly lose live chess because of disconnection...

This is getting rediculous. YOU HAVE NEVER PLAYED A LIVE CHESS GAME ON THIS SITE. YOU JOINED YESTERDAY. What is the point in coming out with a load of absolute trash... it doesn't achieve anything!

dragon27

hello Nytik. to tell you some true info, I used to play on chess.com in 2007. I closed my account cause i was a bit too busy and just started a new one as now i don't have to study that much for my  exams. I was having my finals at the end of 07.

Nytik

Why didn't you use your previous account? And what was the previous account's name?

dragon27

well, as i told you, i had closed my account. i never knew i was going to return! i can't really remember my account name, but i know it was something to do with dragon. thats why i chose 'dragon27' for this account name.

Nytik

What was the account's name?

I am impressed with chess.com, but i personaly feel that they should not be changing a persons rating in Chess Mentor. You are suppose to learn there, but not lose your rating at the same time!

The Chess Mentor rating is completely seperate to your actual game-playing rating. One does not affect the other.

I think there should be sound effects. Id like to play some scary music at my opponent when we are both on the same board at the time.

dragon27

I would love that too!!! It gets the excitment around don't you think?

CaptainSeadog

Chess.com is great...but I think that "vacation" should be limited to paid members. Just my 2 cents worth Cool

Doctorjosephthomas

More weak players with good ratings!!
