I just took a look at an article on vacations and it looks like you have to uncheck your "I'm on vacation" box in settings. Yeah, I know you didn't check it in the first place, chess.com did. Anyway that's my take on this article:

Thanks. It worked. It also wasn't true that I only had 54 minutes left. I went back to the game after I unchecked it, and it then said I had 23 hours left! Must be a bug.
I forget the details, but there used to be a way to "game" the system where folks would take a few minutes vacation and it would reset the time they had left to a full 3 days. As part of the fix, any vacation now has a minimum of 24 hours. So no, not a bug, a feature!
I just got a message saying my 54 minutes left in a game triggered a vacation, and I can't move in it.
