Why do people say...

computers are generally easier (at the same elo) than humans? People say, "Oh, they don't have that INTUITION and stratagy that humans have." I just have to disagree... 

I signed up on the ICC today and here's my comparison. I played a 1850 uscf player today and the 1800 computer. The computer just outplayed me. I felt like a 1200. Even the 1600 is hard. They make completely unorthodox openings sometimes but get away with it. However, I actually had a fighting game with the player. I don't get it...

They don't allow computer to get its real rating. If you play a series of games with easy / midium / hard etc here and even if you win all games software can have higher rating than at the start ! So its rating is set randomly by system in a range.

Most software if get better position simply start playing better because if you simplify they get stronger compared to you so you are handicapped. You can not even think longer as robot always have time advantage.

^ Yeah, after playing her for a number of games I actually found a certain way of beating her. You literally can do the same thing every time and she loses. She really doesn't give a damn about kingside protection lol. They ALWAYS do they same thing... it's not like rybka or houdini or something. I didn't notice until now.
