Kasparov and Fischer...would have been interesting to see both of them play...Magnus will have lots of time to have his immortal games..lol 

I have only really looked at fischers games. So my opinion is completly swayed towards fischer.

in my opinion kasparov did what fischer and tal did but better. magnus is a really nice positional/active player. it wont be long till he becomes world champion (altough Anand will be quite the challenge)

Korchnoi. His games are a great study

IMO Kasparov. He clearly demonstrated who's the best! Fischer had too many controversal plays (not on the board!), especially this one in Reykyavik. Carlsen still needs to show what he is preparing. Anand is very strong, especially in WCC matches. But we must not forget Kramnik. Just guess, who beated the best chess player ever lived in 2000? :)

So, my choise - Kasparov.

but i hate to study his games, too hard, with all !!!! sacrifices

I agree with pfren.   Euwe & Prins book on Capablanca should be translated into english.  Winter's book is brillant.
