abortion

I have been wrongfully accused of aborting games.                In actual fact the games were aborted before I had a chance to even view them.   As a result of my so called aborting I get penalized by not being allowed to play for 5mins between each game.

Me included plus time between tourneys

Why is there a problem with aborting a game? If it is a problem, then why is it an option?

Some guy requested a 3-days-per-move game with me yesterday. I play White, so I played my first move, and now, a whole day later, he hasn't made his move yet. I understand that he has 3 days to make his move, however, I don't understand why it should take him this long to make up his mind. Normally, when this happens, I simply abort the game. I have now reconsidered.

For some it is all about points, but really who cares.
