Chess.com Kindle app

I recently upgraded to a Kindle Fire HDX. For the first few weeks, I had no issues with the Chess.com app. However, starting a few days ago, I began getting the following when opening the app:

ChessCom has stopped.

I am not doing anything else at the same time. I have rebooted the device and tried the Chess.com app first. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app. I have uninstalled, rebooted, then re-installed. Always the same result. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is anyone else seeing the same issue?

Hi! Sorry you're having issues with the Kindle app. We have pushed an update to the app, so hopefully you should see an update in the app store relatively soon.

We need chess.com app on Amazon KINDLE e-ink books!!!

I don't see an update in the app store and live chess does not open on my kindle fire. Please advise.

Mine does a funky thing of pivoting the board for each computer move. You'll get dizzy watching it. Also the strength settings are limited to sec/move response. Gone are settings 1 to 10. Also, there is no live analysis of moves like before. It is dissapointing. All other functions work, but computer play is like watching a vortex. Weird.
