Hi! Sorry for the inconvenience. If you don't make a move within the first 15-20 seconds of the game, the game is automatically aborted. I will pass your feedback on to the team. We just want to make it as fair as possible for everyone involved.
Losing via ~Game Abandoned"

Hello, jac - I certainly did make a move within the first 15-20 seconds - it was move four (I think) I spent some time on.
Yeah sometimes I, in my ultimate slowness, don't manage to get the tab up and make my first move in time.
I just got a game abandoned and my connection was interrupted. I have no wish to be restricted. I emailed to support and did the verifyer but I cannot tell if support has received my mssg :)
It happened again - i was thinking for a long time on move five: http://live.chess.com/live?v=2013091201#g=607733227.
I often play one minute with three second increment and find myself thinking for 20 seconds or so in the opening - only to find myself losing via 'Game Abandoned. See http://live.chess.com/live?v=2013091201#g=603468504 for the latest.
I appreciate the need to weed out players who start games and then abandon them - but can the algorithm be reset so that it penalises slow thinkers less frequently?
