Hello, until recently my settings were set so that I only played down 100 points. Regardless of my rating, I was only matched with players who were at minimum, 100 points lower than me. This has somehow changed. How do I change it back. I go into settings and it simply says I will play anyone over 1800, but this is not what happens.

This thread posted nearly a year ago explains a major change being implemented in how matches are paired.

It explains how the ratings filter you set in the filter tab only affects what you see displayed on the seek graph. It does not set actual minimums and maximums that chess.com uses for pairing matches when you click "Start Game".
If you want to set up a ratings range, or want an unusual time control, you need to create a "Custom" seek. The thread above explains how this may take significantly longer to fulfill than just letting chess.com match you.
