At that screen you should select the game you want to see. This should bring you to the chess board where you can make moves.

Tried that, didn't work.
If you're on a touch-screen only blackberry then the application is NOT touch-screen aware. On my WinMo-based mobile phone I have to pop up the keyboard and use the navigation arrows and enter key on that to move the highlighted item and select. Unfortunately popping up the keyboard obscures the screen, which can make it a little more guess work than I'd like.
The default highlighted item is "Menu" at the bottom-left (the highlighting is quite subtle).

Wow!!! That makes tooooo much sense! So basically, I'm screwed! Thanks for the info, now I can stop banging my head against the wall!!!
