would there be any way to add a button in the forums folder(in the green bar above) to add a forum topic? i think it would be a lot easier for people to contribute their part at chess.com, adding potentially valuable contributions to chess.com. thanks in advance!

The current method requires one extra click (on FORUMS) to reach the large green button just below the main green tool bar.

It is only displayed when you're looking at the forums - not from every page on the site.

A potential downside to the one-click method is that it would encourage everyone to start new (likely duplicate) topics, rather than commenting on the ones currently running.

ok. i just realized something, though. what about starting a game with a person that you know, say, your uncle, but is not your friend yet? i am trying to start a game with a relative so i can send a friend invite, yet i cannot. any ideas?

HOME -> Online Chess -> Start New Game allows you to specify opponent by email address.
