Tactics Trainer - Scoring Changed?

Hey all,

I noticed since the updates that were done last Saturday that Tactics trainer isn't scoring correct/Incorrect answers the same. When I get something right the highest points I'll get is like 8 when we use to get like...18? I'm just curious why this changed or if there's a place I can read about the changes happening.

I have noticed the same thing.  The tactics trainer scoring algorithm seems to have been adjusted so that each attempt provides about half the gain and/or half the loss.  Was this done intentionally?  If so why?

It doesn't seem to have changed my level.  I would assume that the main impact is to lower the variation or swing around the mean score that I would normally maintain.

Would someone from Chess.com comment on the change?
