    Hello chess.com staff!:)

I am very satisfied with my Gold Membership here at chess.com, I enjoy the features it allows me to access and I am honored to be able to contribute to such a fun, wonderful website. Thx so much for it! It really is spectacular:)

I did have a quick question though. I am a college student and usually am very busy; however, even though I'm currently taking summer classes I will have a two week break before the fall semester begins. So I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade my membership just for the month of August when I had that 2 week break that would allow me to access the features for Diamond members? If I paid the 12.99 price for that month, could I revert back to my premium membership the next month when I'm back to school?:) If not, of course that's fine too. But I'd sure love to if it's possible. Thanks again for everything:)

Hello Steve. Yes, you can go to the membership page at http://www.chess.com/membership.html where you can change from one premium membership plan to another whenever you like. And when you change from one premium membership to another any remaining membership credit you currently have will be put towards the new membership plan that you are changing to.

Thanks Patzer24:) So I can change from any membership to another at any time, even dropping down to a lower membership like I mentioned in my original question?

yes, and you will still keep that credit amount on your account. so if you only used 2 weeks, it would put $6 of "credit" back in your chess.com account.

Hey eric can I ask you another question? It seems like i've been using a misnomer the entire time- I wrote a follow-up request in the "Premium Members" blog and wrote that I wanted to be returned to my "Basic membership", but what I MEANT was my original GOLD membership lol- that was the whole point of this original blog!:) Apparently I thoroughly confused everyone with the inaccurate terms I used, and now I am back to a BASIC membership like I asked, but what I wanted all along (starting with this blog, then ending with my premium membership blog) was to return to my Gold membership. I know all of this was my fault, but is there any chance that I can be returned to my Gold membership without having to buy a complete new one? or pay only the amount of one-months-worth of a premium membership (the one month I had it) and then continue my original Gold membership until it would have expired (I believe sometime in January roughly)? If you could please help me out again with this predicament I confusedly got myself into, I'd greatly appreciate it. If you can't do anything I understand. Thx again man:)

        Sincerely,

        Steve (croyboss)
