Today i played a game and my opponent disconnected after his position started to look a bit dire (not much) - but nothing happened, his time ran out and then again - nothing - the game remained on my monitor as though it was still in progress and i could not do anything about it. When I disconnected and reconnected: again, the game was still there like the remainder of the passed summer. And then I looked at my score and there it was: according to the computer i lost the game because i abondoned it!!! Of course i did, but my opponent did it first and his time had already expired. Have you encountered anything like this?  the link to this page is: http://www.chess.com/livechess/game.html?id=51781825. So if any of the administrators look at this - can you do something about this bug?

Can you tell me if you play in live chess using live chess 2, from facebook or using the downloadable desktop client?

Which browser are you using and what version is it?

This is one serious bug that has been exploited by several players already just based on several rant threads in the forums.

It happened to me too. I haven't played live chess again since.

Haven't had that happen to me but I did accidentally leave someone during a game because my internet was acting up again. No matter how bleak the outcome is I'll always finish a game.

This has happened to me and of course it is a real problem. The guys who exploit it are few and far between though and of course they are the real losers. It is just a game after all.

I use my PC and Firefox browser (the newest version).
