"Cheaters" are titles, "war heroes" are titles.. we shall reap what we sow. If  we planted love in other peoples hearts, the fruits become love too it may rot but it still came from love. If we play the game of chess fairly then we reap a good harvest either we win or lose because we learn on a positive way. When one cheats he/ she cheats himself/herself.He /she can laugh all their heart out in their actions but there is always a price to pay for the path we choose.And as for those "war heroes" that wre quoted as sick...God gave us free will to think...it's just the choice of priority that matters most if they pick God and their conscience 1st or Their Boss.:)

Chess.com is privately owned, they can enforce any rules they want as long as such rules do not break the law.  In other words they can ban program users but they can't ban "all black people"... etc.  So in response to your brilliant question no, jurisdiction has nothing to do with telling known cheaters to play elsewhere.  They privately own the site.  They enforce the rules (within reason) and everyone here is bound to those rules once they register.  If they don't like them, they are free to leave.

Hey but maybe when you are on one of your upswings you can get a grassroots chess-program-cheater civil rights movement going.  Perhaps after many hard fought years they will finally be protected under national anti-discrimination laws.  Good luck!

This has left the main point. I think that cheaters will have to find another site to cheat when Live Chess is improved.

some people have such little control over thier own bodies that they cannot resist talking about politics on public forums.  It never ceases to amaze me that such people honestly think that their comments will be seen as anything besides pointless.

With all due respect, I think the whole BANNING CHEATERS thing is so out of whack.  If people have such boring and uneventful lives to use a chess program to play their games for them, then one should merely pity them and encourage them to do something better with their lives

I don't like it and it's wrong.  There are a few jerks in every crowd.  But this isn't at the top of my things-to-worry-about list.

Not just online...Technology is allowing it to happen in tournaments too.

i.e.players from the same block of nations finding the best moves for each other during adjournments.

I think tonight I've played two games vs. Houdini or Ribka..People rated 1300/1600 whom don't make the minimum mistake and when you made a move a little weaker (not a blunder...just a little weak move) they always punish you like they were GMs...I really don't understand those people...but I've the solution....I usually play 30 min games, from today, every time I fell I'm outplayed by Houdini, I just go for a walk, without resign...let the cheater there, waiting and waiting...Maybe someone can think this is a child behaviour...but they must be punished in some way...
