Yeah we get that a lot around here. Remember it's browser based (no client software loaded onto your PC) so it's very sensitive to how much memory you have available. This article goes into it in a bit more depth:
Internet connection goes down in winning position

Thanks for the article bro. I also experienced a lot of these, especially in a very crucial seconds when I have a good chance of winning. That was really frustrating.
that happened with the Android app too. If the winning player have a disconnect and not able to reconnect the game should be drawn if the losing player don't want to wate for time to run out
My internet has been fine for several days now
I was winning the game and all of a sudden the connection drops. I'm using the IOS app. this happens a lot! Very frustrating.
I think some opponents are launching ddos attacks when they start losing. Unless you have an alternate connection on standby, you will lose!
Hi, in about every third game when I have a good position, my PC looses the internet connection. The message is "Disconnected", after a couple of minutes when the internet is back and I go into the game it says that I abandoned the game. Quite annoying. Not only did I lose the game even if I was winning, but chess.com accuses me of abandoning the game. I have a very stable internet connection, and don´t get disconnected when using other services in internet, only live.chess.com.
Have anyone experienced something similar?
