nice puzzle but got stuck on third move

why didn't he take your knight

I liked this puzzle a lot.  I have gotten a lot better at chess just by doing puzzles.  I found some of the hardest puzzles at www.thechesswebsite.com  They are like really hard.

 If 3. . . pxN(Q), then 4. RxQ, and white has a winning position.  3. . . pc1(Q)+, black queens with check, and looks to have some chance of winning the game.

 Not without loosing. If he takes the knight, and promote to queen, the rook will take back.

nice puzzle i honestly didnt think about the knight move forgetting totally like everyone has said how the rook would just retake

He will still also have a 6 move win too with either Rd1 Ka5 Rd6 Ka4 Ra6# or Rd1 Ka3 Rd2 Ka4 Ra2#
