I was thinking, and i wonder if any of us could go without any technology for one year.

if so please post in this topic, and tell why.

I think he means elecronics, but me I'll live for about a day I would probabley the next day start pressing the power button of things mindlessly

I don't think I can live without tech, as I won't be playing chess now these days!

technology makes our lives easier and better, imagine life without it.... but everybody can live with it. It needs worldwild catastrophy to find out and live with it.

I doubt whether lack of technology could ever lead to any worldwide catstrophy :)

 People used to live without it and will continue to live without it if it were not present...It seems to me that the multitude of technologies actually makes me more distracted and less happy than if I were to lead a more simple life...we never feel the lack of technology that might come up...but we are indeed afraid of what would happen if the current technology goes away...and I seriously doubt that anything significant would  happen...mankind would continue...perhaps we would become a bit less violent...

If there were no technology, then man wouldn't have created fire, and man wouldn't have created homes. We'd be...nowhere. And very cold.

If I didn't have tech I wouldn't have anyhing to; hack, take apart, or fix. Flyingbananas has a good point we wouldn't be anywhere either

I'd struggle but I'd do it.

excellent question.  to live without technology, I'd have to go through a transition period.  to just wake up tomorrow and have no technology would be very very difficult.  better to give up a little here, alittle there, until there would be none left.  very thought provoking topic.

No I need technology I am like a computer guy, I always in the computer and playing chess too.
