Nominations for Chess.com Troll of the Month - Nov. 2013

I nominate Sheldon Cooper for troll of the month. He occupies the heads of all who are not Jedi and causes them to post nonsense.

Soorat92

Interesting ... you're suggesting Sheldon Cooper is so awesome he can control the thoughts of others

Soorat92

I didn't think it was possible ... but after the suggestion by Ziryab - Sheldon I think I love you even more ...

Only those with weak minds. Most are controlled by television. If they are geeks (as most chess players), they are controlled by Cooper. Reading these forums, it is very difficult to think otherwise.

Do you think the voices in my head are those of Sheldon Cooper?

If so why does he keep telling me to burn things?

Sheldo actually says something along those lines in the Steven Hawking episode.

Sheldon Cooper hasn't joined chess.com yet (Probably because there's no 3d chess or three way chess), so even though he's great, he can't be nominated for Chess.com troll of the month.

Soorat92

But I wanted to second his nomination ...

Leonard Hofstader, on the other hand, probably hasn't joined because he's not good at chess.

You can nominate him if you can give me a link to a thread he created, or a comment he made on chess.com.

Are we quite sure he isn't just hiding somewhere on here?

He might jump out at any moment shouting "Bazinga!"

They're trying to perfect the game of laser chess that they invinted.

That does sound rather cool! Do you think chess.com will ever adopt laser chess if it takes off?

sapientdust

They'll no doubt implement laser chess right after they get to Klingon Chess.

Soorat92

So many types of chess chess.com seems to be missing out on ... maybe someone should mention this

ratatouie

WELL SOORAT LASER TAG DIDNT TAKE OFF EITHER, N SOORAT IM RAT TO UR PRETTY

Soorat92

Hi Rat - true ... but maybe we can endorse these other types of chess on here in the hope that chess.com will accommodate a type of chess to suit everyone's needs.

Some of the ideas I've had include:-

Inclusive chess - chess that remembers sometimes there is a third person who would normally have to just watch and miss out on playing

Aichmophobia chess - for those who preffer to play without sharp corners

Bricklayer's chess - for those who want a solid foundation in the game

Chess for people in a rush who enjoy games that end in stalemate

Are there any you'd like to see that I've missed???

macer75

That last one cannot possibly end in stalemate. Unless you introduce more pieces, that is.

Ever critical - never supportive (sniff)
