Read somewhere that it's harder for bilinguals to get Alzheimer's disease. (I'm actually also bilingual) :p

My grandmother knew 3 or 4 anguages and she got it anyway. Weirdly, at the end of the disas, she would sometims randomly forget Danish and switch to German for hours on end. The German was intersected with performances of a stupid Latin song she learned in school. This made it hard for the doctors to communicate with her when none of the Gearman-speaking family members were around to translate for them.

I always forget the difference between Alzheimers and Parkinson.

Alzheimers symptoms first appear when you are unable to remember the difference between Alzheimers and Parkinsons.

I'm 1.67-lingual.  English, bullshit Spanish, and bullshit Japanese.  Wonder how protected that would make someone from Alzheimers.

What's your second language?

Parkinson's is when you can't help spilling your Alzheimer's.

Here's the initial swedish phrase in a relevant context. And with the right order of the words:

- Jag tror jag har haft gonorré i en månad.

- Äsch, du kanske bara precis har fått det.

Translation:

- I think I've had gonorrhea for a month.

- Nah, perhaps you've just recently contracted it.

I need closed-captioning on to figure out what Scottish people are saying in movies. Sometimes it's just not possible.

Please try the one at the bottom of page two.

Ha!  How is that movie?

Plenty of violence, and a good performance by Pitt. 6/10.

c++ :)

That would be Basic on TRS-80 desktop computer and pocket computer, Color Computer II Basic, 8088 Turbo Pascal, IBM System/370 Assembly Language, Cobol on the Vax, and DBase III+ for PC.  I've forgotten all of it, too, though not the basic concepts of programming.  Wow...  The last computer programming language I used was DBase III+, and that was over 21 years ago!  My second language now is Galeh Yuvo, which is what you see earlier in this thread on page two.

last compure programming language I learned was Pascal and Cobol for goodness sake.  Cobol???? was written in like the nineteen fifties or something outragous like that, heck it was one step away from punched cards and computers that had glowing vaccum tubes, mechanical arms and filled up whole rooms.  Pentium 2 was state of the art at the time, our lecturer was boasting he had one.

I also have a problem with South Germans. I have no problem in Berlin or Frankfurt, but the further south you go, the less intelligible they are, until you hit Switzerland and then it may as well be populated by Scots.
