a while back, i got these windows mixed up while trying to analyze my position during the opponent's turn, and i set a bad conditional move (which my opponent triggered into effect before i could clear it).
for this and other practical reasons i think these two should be merged into a single feature, with added submit/cancel buttons similar to the main board. then, when analyzing the possible continuations, you could choose "submit moves" for the line(s) you like best (without needing to re-enter same in another window).
but in any case there should be buttons to confirm or cancel instead of submitting immediately upon piece-drop (to avoid the blunders more typical of live chess).
