Bad Interface

Does anyone else have problems with their pieces dropping on squares you do not want them to? The interface seems to drop pieces in random spots. I am VERY careful to hold the mouse button in to drag the piece and drop it but still it ends up in the wrong spot at least once per game. This is a horrible way to end a good match. The interface for chess.com seems terrible. Does anyone have any solutions?

Sounds like it might be your mouse that's the problem. I've never heard of anyone having such trouble before.

Thanks ill try a new mouse. It could be the problem if noone else is having the same issue.

Are you speaking about Live Chess, Online Chess, or both?

I've never had this problem.  Could there be something wrong with your mouse button?

It's happened to me on every game I've lost.
