Right, but if the moves are in order, it will display the name of the opening at the bottom. But not if the opening is played out of order, even though you've transposed into the same opening. That's all I was after.

Yes, Game Explorer has no transposition of moves.
Is it possible that the game explorer can recognise transpositions into other openings?
For example if 1. d4 e6 2. e4 d5 we are now in a French defence, but it's not labelled as such because the move order 1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 was not played.
Just a simple suggestion, but I think it would be useful.
