Online chess feature: stay in game without changing settings

When I have many moves to play in many correspondence games I usually prefer to be sent to the next game after making a move. However, sometimes I want to stay in the current game (it's almost over, the other player is online, we're chatting, I want to keep looking at the position but I wanted to move so the other player could move) and I don't really want to leave the game to change my settings to "stay in game", go back to the game, and later change the setting back. It would be great to have a "stay in game" button to click before moving that would keep you there until you navigate away from the game.

The alternative of leaving the setting on "stay in game" and clicking "next game" to advance is cumbersome when you have a lot of games to play and each game is being reloaded after you move.

I looked through a few pages on this forum and didn't see a topic like this, but if it already exists I apologize. If so please bump that topic and close this one. Thanks for reading.

This is actually a great idea, i have been thinking of this exact same thing since it's such a hassle to switch back to the game.

It looks like they do have this feature. Either they added it in response to this topic (thanks!), or it was always there and I never noticed. When it's your move you'll see a gray drop down menu under the move list that lets you stay in the game or whatever. Funny I'm not positive it's a new addition even though I never saw it before making this topic (I've been known to not see things on the game page, like things about to happen on the board). Anyway I'm glad it's there Smile
