Its all random chance the computer only takes into account the ammount of black or white games you have already played and tries to balance them out.

Very often, (90% of games), when I want to play with random opponent and random color, if my opponent is better than me , he plays with whites, and if I am better than my opponent, I play with whites.
Why always whites for the best player ???
